Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Location: New Brunswick, NJ

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Onsite

Salary: Up to $110,000

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at our New Brunswick, NJ location. The successful candidate will be responsible for various financial analysis tasks, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, business partnering, and process improvements. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of up to $110,000 annually.

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

• Prepare and distribute financial statements, conducting detailed variance analysis and providing commentary, SWOT analysis, and trend assessments.
• Gather and analyze financial data from multiple sources to generate comprehensive reports by SKU, customer, product family, as well as key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and presentations.
• Provide analytical support to the Operations team on manufacturing activities, including inventory management, costing, pricing, and KPI tracking.
• Conduct industry and competitor analysis to provide insights to management and support strategic decision-making.
• Evaluate capital expenditures, review proposals, and assess ROI and payback periods.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Own the annual budget and quarterly forecast process, ensuring alignment of financial goals with business strategy.

Business Partnering:

• Collaborate with various department heads to provide tools and insights to enhance operational efficiency and highlight emerging trends.

Continuous Improvement:

• Support continuous improvement initiatives by aligning and standardizing reports, dashboards, and KPIs to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Prepare analytical ad-hoc reports as required.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting, business, or financial analysis experience, preferably within a manufacturing or consumer products company.
• Highly computer literate with proficiency in data mining and ERP systems.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
• Experience working with large data sets in Excel using pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Deadline-driven and high-energy individual, able to work autonomously and lead as a key contributor on teams.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to multitask with moderate supervision.
